I'm Màrius again and in this new post I'm going to tell you my travel to Normandia. We went from may 17th to 24th.
The first day we all the class met in the Manises Airport at eleven o'clock a.m. to get a plane.
This plane leaved us in Paris. In Paris we get a bus that took 3 hours to Normandia in the north of France. The first time that I saw Normandy I thought that at the world can't be mor green than there.
All in Normandy is green!!! This is because rains a lot.
So when we arrived to Deauville we went to the school, because our correspondents were waiting for us in the school. There I met another time with Arthur, my correspondant. Also I met his mother, Silvi, that took us to her house. They leave in a city called Houlgate. It's a bit far of Deauville.
Houlgate is a city that one half is in the beach and the another half is in the mountain.
When we arrived to Arthur's house I met his father, Thierry and his brother, Antoine. When Fran and me met they it was embarrassing because anyone of us know what to say. After that we have dinner and then we went to sleep.
My stay in Normandy was amazing. One of my favorite days was the day that we went to The LANDING BEACHES OF NORMANDY. There i saw the consequences of the 2nd World War.
I freak out with the craters of the bombs that the allies free in those places. Also we visited Omaha beach and the E.E.U.U cementery. In Omaha beach was filmed the film Saving Private Ryan.
Other day, we went to Caen the big city of Normandy. In Caen we visited some medieval castles, The gothic church and then we visited the townhall.
The weekend we did a little trip with Arthur's father, Thierry, on his boat. We went to Houlgate's Harbor and we get on the boat. The boat was so fast, I thought that can feel sick but I didn't. I think that that is for the speed of the boat. This same afternoor we went to Arthur's grandfather's farm. This was my favorite part of the day!!! I enjoy a lot with the cows, in spite of that they was afraid of us.
So those are my favorite parts of my TRAVEL TO NORMANDY
